Handmade Thank You Cards
Handmade Thank You Cards
Tuesday, October 28, 2008
Our youngest daughter recently had a rainforest birthday party. Rather than buying the pre-packaged thank-you cards, she decided to make her own.
1.She started by placing a photograph of each child at the party on the front of a blank note card. Next, she used stickers to decorate the cover with the first initial of each child’s name, and rainforest animals.
2.Inside the card she stamped a “Thank You” message and signed her name.
3. The last step involved writing the first initial of each child’s name on the envelope (I wrote the rest). I made sure to have an alphabet chart handy in case she needed to double check the correct letter formation.
It was hard work, but when she was finished, she was one proud girl.
