We were inspired by this post, on the Kidmade website, to explore the artwork of Andy Goldsworthy.  We carefully studied the book, A Collaboration With Nature and also got a lot of ideas from the resources listed below. After a few great shell collecting expeditions the girls were ready to create. 

What amazed me about this experience was the intensity and focus the girls demonstrated while creating.  They took their work seriously because they felt like they were doing the work of a true artist.  They also now feel as if they know Andy Goldsworthy personally.
