Our Flower Garden: A Child’s Perspective
Recently I went through my photo library to select some pictures that the girls have taken to add to, A Little Perspective photo pool. During my search I came across these beauties. One summer afternoon, the girls decided to photograph all of the flowers in our garden. I was planning on using them for a flower identification project that we never got around to, so they have just been sitting in the abyss of our digital files.
I have really enjoyed seeing the images that are being posted to A Little Perspective. The perspective that children bring to the world is so fresh and spontaneous. I am grateful for the inspiration that prompted me to revisit these photographs with a new perspective and to bring them out into the light of day!

Getting Your Kids to Click with Photography
Monday, September 15, 2008
While I was loading the pictures that my youngest daughter had taken, she climbed up on my lap to view her work. She clicked on the photo above (right) and started tinkering with the editing tools on iphoto. It was amazing to see how uninhibited she was when it came to experimenting with the program. She even showed me how to add the neat “blurry around the edge” effect to digital photos.
