We have enjoyed burning beeswax candles for many years.  There is a soft golden light and deliciously subtle smell that only comes from beeswax.  After numerous purchases of individual candles from the local health food store, I decided to go online and find a source for buying them in bulk.  I was thrilled when I discovered Big Dipper Wax Works.  Their candles are made with the utmost care and the company philosophy is one that I wholeheartedly stand behind. Now, on to the candle making part... Because lighting candles is such a big part of what we do everyday, we thought it would be fun to try to make some of our own.  I was not quite ready to take on the beautiful, hand-dipped version that Renee at FIMBY created - although it is next on our list.  This candle making kit from Magic Cabin seemed to be the perfect entry point into candle making for the girls and me.
