The girls started by painting different designs on large sheets of watercolor paper.  They painted spirals, wavy lines, polka dots and did one “Jackson Pollock” style.

I cut their designs into small rectangles that we glued on to the the large tags we used as cards.

Next, the girls decorated their cards with a “Happy Valentine’s Day” stamp and assorted heart stickers.

They wrote the names of their classmates and then used a “With Love” stamp before signing their names on the backs of the cards.

The final touch was to add the adorable fruit erasers we found in the bargain bins at Michaels.
