Alphabet Inspiration
Research tells us that teaching young children to recognize the names and sounds of the letters in the alphabet can greatly improve their success with reading later in life. Working with your children on these basic skills can be a playful and lighthearted experience for your entire family.
LMNOP (a wonderful online magazine) has just released their 7th issue and it is entirely dedicated to the alphabet and the written word. It features the word on kid’s fashion, hands-on toys to help you learn your vowels, and some of the globes best a-b-c toys, games, books and art. They also have a great blog that will keep you inspired in between issues.
I was so excited by LMNOP’s latest issue that I decided to build on their alphabet momentum and round up some fun alphabet experiences from around the web for you to enjoy with your family.
Please add to the list and share the alphabet love!
