Of all the seasons, summer represents the most change for our family. The initiation of summer brings with it a wonderful collection of new beginnings - new rhythms, new routines, newly found time together, new projects, new adventures... 

It is a time that we all look forward to because of the spontaneity it brings.  The wide-open spaces of time encourages all of us to develop our stories, ideas, communication skills, resourcefulness, attention spans, interests, perseverance, imagination, relationships - and much, much more.  In a sense, summer feels like a magical time where anything is possible - where we can take our ideas from the inspiration phase to completion all in one long, leisurely afternoon...or not.
