During a play date I decided to leave a few baskets and child size scissors out as an invitation to the girls and their guest, to gather flowers from our garden.  As they emerged from their dramatic play (fully adorned in princess attire - fairy wings and all) and discovered the empty baskets just waiting to be filled with flowers - they were happy to oblige.  It was quite a lovely scene in our front yard - three fairy princesses floating about with baskets full of freshly picked flowers.

Every summer we love to replenish our supply of pressed flowers.  This year was especially fun because the girls knew the names of most of the flowers in our garden.  “I think we need more Catmint...”
